Spanish phrases for travelling

If you’re travelling to South America, Central America or Spain knowing some common Spanish phrases will come in pretty handy.

Even if you can only poorly utter a few things in Spanish, locals will respect that you’re at least trying and will be more receptive to helping you out.

Use your hands

If all else fails, try communicating with charades.  People have been communicating with each other for centuries using their hands and actions to act out what they’re trying to say.
